Worked as an artist and later as the Art Director for a children's educational software company. Duties included the production of art for software titles, all printed material and packaging. I was also responsible for managing clients such as the National Civil Rights Museum and the D-Day Museum (now the National WWII Museum) in the creation of software titles for their institutions.

Awards and Activities

UNL Regent's Scholarship

Awarded the UNL Regent's Scholarship, Air Force ROTC Scholarship and other academic awards. In college I was a student senator for ASUN, served as a committee chairperson and was part of the executive committee.

Volunteer Work

My participation in the local community includes helping to raise funds for the Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as creating artwork for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Relay For Life Foundation. My artwork has been auctioned to raise money for events such as the Matt Bahr Tribute Show.

Art Projects

Other major art projects that I have been fortunate to have been involved in include producing a four issue comic book series with several artists I attended college with. I have created three award winning short films and have worked with several local filmmakers on their projects in many different capacities. I was fortunate to have assisted committee artist Shawn Drapal in the creation of the design of the Nebraska state quarter.

Gen-Con

I was invited and participated in several themed local art shows. I was a finalist in the Epic Battles miniature art contest and had my creation featured at the 2007 Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles, California. I organized and judged an art competition at the 2009 Gen-Con, the largest gaming convention in the world.
